There’s nothing quite like decorating cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve! It’s a simple, joy-filled tradition that brings families together — little hands covered in frosting, sprinkles everywhere, and hearts full of holiday magic. ❤️
These classic sugar cookies are buttery, soft, and so easy to make — perfect for kids to help with every step!
You’ll need:
2 ¾ cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
1 cup butter, softened
1 ½ cups sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
How to make:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 375°F.
2️⃣ Beat butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
3️⃣ Mix in dry ingredients.
4️⃣ Roll into balls and bake 8–10 minutes.
5️⃣ Cool, decorate, and enjoy!
Leave a few out for Santa (he’s been waiting all year 😉), and don’t forget the milk!
